CASTLEGAR PISTOL CLUB

The CPC is a subgroup of CDWA. (A membership in CPC includes CDWA membership together with insurance and membership in the BC Wildlife Federation.)

The annual fees:
CPC/CDWA Regular ($80); CPC/CDWA Senior 65+ ($50 ); CPC/CDWA Family ($95); CPC/CDWA Senior Couple ($80)
CDWA Regular ($50); CDWA Senior 65+ ($35); CDWA Family ($65); CDWA Junior ($25)

The CPC offers the following to its members:

➢ firearms training and safety programs (after the Canadian Firearms Course is completed)

➢ expert advice on various types of firearms

➢ indoor range use during winter months (.22 cal. pistols and rifles only)

➢ competitive matches roughly March to October

➢ IPSC (International Practical Shooting Confederation) style with pistols of 9mm cal. and above (introducing .22 cal. in 2021)

➢ Cowboy Action Shooting with Western style single action revolvers and period lever action rifles and shotguns

➢ assistance with legal paperwork such as ATT's (Authorization to Transport)

➢ assistance with other clubs' competitive matches (such as West Kootenay Marksmen in Trail area)

NOTE: Membership in a registered club such as CPC is required if one wishes to acquire a restricted firearm or the ATT required to go to ranges.
